Roc Nation’s finest J.Cole has been keeping busy despite the upcoming release of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story, due this September 27th! Check out the first released video of one of the cuts off the album “Can’t Get Enough” featuring Trey Songz. Also be sure to snag the lastest of Cole’s “Any Given Sunday” installment.
It’s that time of the week again, and J.Cole is sticking to his promise by giving out some more unreleased free music. I keep asking myself how these songs aren’t used on a mixtape or album, but regardless that just seems to mean his album will blow everyones mind . 9/27/11!!
In the months leading up to J.Cole’s debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story ,set to drop September 27th, the Roc Nation figure has announced the release of a weekly giveaway series known as “Any Given Sunday”. Now every week won’t be the same: one week he’ll drop a new song, but the next he might give out a video. To start it off, J.Cole gives away this batch of mastered old tracks with a couple new ones. Enjoy!
J.Cole‘s latest drop is inspired by the Lion King concept he as previously used in previous works. “Return of Simba” is a heavy hitting track and bold statement on the progressive future of hip-hop, it’s gonna be a Cole World.
J.Cole just dropped another non-album track to curb the hunger of his starving fans who patiently wait for his album to drop. “See It To Believe It” includes the Roc Nation frontman’s classic style and lyricism, complimented by a laid back beat including heavy hitting kick drums and violin strings.
J.Cole just recently released this dope track to keep his fans in anticipation for his first studio album, which he has confirmed is complete! Can’t wait till it hits stores, but for now jam on this.
Donovan Johnson, better known as the american rapper XV, comes out of non other than Wichita, Kansas… definitely not the most well known city breeding hip-hop icons, but as they say, there’s always an exception to the rule. XV presents his new mixtape Zero Heroes which sounds more like a full blown album than anything. With awesome productions from well known producers such as Jus Blaze, J.Cole, and Seven. XV lays down his fast paced flow full of lyrical puns to make for more than a few jaw dropping moments. To add to the talent displayed by XV himself, there are plenty of great features on the mixtape including prominent artists like Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar and CyHi Da Prince. Get on thisquick!
The first song of Kendrick Lamar‘s and J.Cole‘s joint mixtape, Section 80, was just released and will provided raps solely from Compton native Kendrick, and all production done by Roc Nation’s J.Cole. The song “HiiiPoWer” has an incredible beat matched with conscious lyrics packed with imagery, and even a small take off of Kanye West’s “So Appalled”. This song is so sick, I can’t wait till the whole mixtape comes out! Get on it asap.
Xaphoon Jones recently came out with a new mixtape. I briefly went through the tracks, some were good, some were okay, but these are the ones that stood out the most. Check these out and you ca pick up the whole thing here!
It’s been far too long since I’ve heard the boss from the Ville, J.Cole, come out with a sick track. Withdrawal symptoms were getting at me. Check out J.Cole’s first single, “Killers,” from his promotional mixtape, The Glorification of Gangster. Make sure to listen close to the lyrics because not many have better concepts in hip-hip than Roc Nation’s finest, J.Cole.
