Massive remix by the up and coming electro prodigy, Clockwork. In addition to the original sounds of “Levels,” Clockwork switched it up with tribal drums and some Wolfgang Gartner “Space Junk” type synths. Play at loud volumes!
Ahh It’s an excellent and sunny Monday morning in Los Angeles. I have some great tunes for ya’ll in this goodies pack. Prog house, dubstep, and moombahton. Be sure to grab the Tomorrowland Anthem as well as the Nero remix of Calvin Harris. The Nero remix may be a rip, but it’s decent enough for me. Check all of these out and have good week!
So I was thinking about finding some good mixes and I realized that there must be some sets from EDC Las Vegas circulating on the internet. Sure enough, Chemical Jump did work putting together a nice little pack of sets from the weekend. I’m currently listening to Afrojack’s and it’s great so far (don’t miss the new track dropped at 41:04). Relive the weekend or figure out what exactly you missed!

Last week was a rough one with all of my finals and school coming to an end. I didn’t have as much time to post as I would have liked to, so I’m playing catch-up today. There were so many releases from big names, all of which are tunes that will surely be heard quite a bit this summer. The Avicii and the Afrojack & R3hab are definitely my top picks in this little pack. Start the week off strong with these bangers!
SoaM (Son of a Minister) is a brand new 16-year-old producer from Norway! This is a preview of his up and coming track “Summer Vibes”. In this track, he has a progressive house sound which he produced with the inspiration of Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. As a guitar player, I love the acoustic guitar mixed with progressive house in this track. SoaM is really getting his career started, keep an eye out for future releases!
I have been crazy busy dealing with all things WEST LA CNCT, as well as school work, so I have not had as much time as I would like. My apologies for the date of this post, but better late than never… right? Catch up on all these goodies if you missed them!
Tron: Legacy R3CONF1GUR3D is out! Many of you have probably already heard the whole thing by now because of the leak, so this release date is a bit diminished. Check these out if you haven’t already!
Avicii is too good to be true. He has already had a huge year and we’re only four months in. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shoots up in ranking on DJ Magazines Top 100 DJ’s next year. Check out these latest goodies!
I thought the original mix of “Street Dancer” was just okay. On the other hand, this Tristan Garner remix is really good. I like how Tristan emphasized a brighter synth without diminishing the funkiness of the track. Have a listen.
So if you haven’t heard by now, Tron: Legacy R3CONF1GUR3D was leaked. The album as a concept is pretty awesome and thankfully, so is the music! Although, I wish Daft Punk was actually involved in this. Regardless, there are definitely several gems on the release. I’ve put up some of my favorites on here for you all to stream and enjoy! Keep a heads up for the official release on April 5th!
This song is definitely one of my favorite releases of the year! Avicii, Avicii, Avicii. It seems like his name pops up in the blogosphere everyday, but for good reason. I’m doing a mix next week and I love “Penguin” so much that I am closing my mix with it. Keep an eye out for that, but until then, enjoy this must have!
Avicii is steadily rising up to be one of the biggest names in electronic music and with his upcoming releases, he is well on his way. This new track of his, “ID,” is excellent. I’m not sure when the official release date is yet, but once I do know when it is, I will be counting down the days…
I put the original mix of “My Feelings For You” on a CD last summer, so those catchy lyrics are always going to remind me of the summer time which is excellent in my opinion. Treasure Fingers put out his own mix of this great track and it has that disco-ey/funky vibe that we’ve come to associate him with. Listen and get your groove on.
